What, where, or who is Yakima? Yakima is a city in Washington with a planning commission that sought to give the boot to an adult store by changing the zoning laws (news article here). Thanks to Adult Business Law I have been learning, bit by bit, about this tricky way of legally forcing an existing business to move, even though it was legal when it began doing business and did nothing wrong! Good work, Adult Business Law, for raising awareness of Yakima’s sneaky dealings.
