The following press announcement came my way from a good friend – please spread the word to anyone you might know in the DC area!

You are invited to join us for the 6th session of FemEx– a course designed for women by women to create a safe environment where women can discuss topics including anatomy, sex & gender; body image; communication; sexual practices; relationships; and more – all issues that impact the way we experience the world. This is an adaptation of a women’s empowerment class that is taught regularly at UC Berkeley, Harvard, and Brown. You can download the Female Experience Syllabus and visit us at www.femex.org for more information- any updates will be posted there and on facebook!

Attending an Info Session is MANDATORY in order to submit a FemEx application. We will offer three info sessions to accommodate different schedules. If you are unable to attend one and would still like to apply, please contact us at femexevents@gmail.com. All applications are due September 14th.
