Dr. Ruthie has been helping individuals, couples, families and groups to experience better, more satisfying levels of intimacy since 2003. She has extensive training in sexual well-being, family development, relationships, gender and sexual diversity and more. While she is well-trained for general concerns as a sexuality educator and relationship expert, she carries a great deal of specialty training in working with survivors of prior violence and abuse. Dr. Ruthie is a recognized expert in these areas with numerous international academic presentations, publications in respected journals, and years of university teaching experience with adult students of all ages.
Her clients represent diverse backgrounds, identities, and regions of North America. Across these demographics, however, they are a highly creative, motivated and strong group who are generally successful in life. These clients reach out to Dr. Ruthie because they are struggling with a sexual well-being or relationship problem, and who are dedicated to improving that area so that it is in balance with the rest of their lives. Dr. Ruthie prides on on providing unconditional support and encouragement, combined with clear and accurate information.
